"Close Encounters" - Margaret Sixsmith ARPS FBPE

"We are keen naturalists and photographers who lecture widely on nature photography throughout the country. We both have obtained EFIAP/b and have gained many awards in photo exhibitions including international gold medals. We have both had work published in magazines and books. Margaret is author of the book "Hilbre, Islands in the Dee Estuary" of which over 90% of the photographs are her own. We also now run photo workshops for the Field Studies Council at Kindrogan FSC in Perthshire, Scotland".

Lynn, of Liverpool Hope University, is particularly interested in War Photography. She completed her PhD thesis on the Second World War photographs of the American-born female Surrealist Lee Miller. Magnum Photos is a photographic cooperative of great diversity and distinction owned by its photographer members. With powerful individual vision, Magnum photographers chronicle the world and interpret its peoples, events, issues and personalities.
