Workshop Description
This relaxed workshop will focus on the skills you need to be successfully prepare your images for presentation in Print
format. We intend to go beyond the process shown in the DVD available from the society and explore some shortcuts using alternative materials and
use of your computer to help in processing.
We will have a hands-on session on Print Mounting. A number of experienced CPS members will be on hand
to guide you through the steps involved in making a custom bevel cut mount, fixing your print to it and placing a backing card on the mount.
There will be a short disussion about alternative tools and materials, followed by practical practice.

- A stack of small-sized mount board off-cuts will be available for practice.
Everyone is welcome to bring some prints they would like to mount.
If you do not have mounting materials, these can be supplied for your use during the workshop. Mountboard up to A4 size
can be supplied free of charge and can be used for practice of cutting, though it may be necessary to share tools.
A2 Mount board in black and cream will be available to buy at £1.00 per sheet.
What you should bring
Prints, mounting materials and tools (if you have them), your laptop if you have one.
Refreshments
Tea and Coffee is available at no extra charge during a 30 minute break at the half-way point and provides a
good opportunity to chat with other people.
